Syrian FM visits Iran

SANAA, Feb. 5 (YPA) – Foreign Minister of Syria Walid al-Moallem on Tuesday arrived at Tehran in an official visit to boost bilateral relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Syrian local media, the minister will hold talks with Iranian officials to discuss the latest development about the Syrian situation and coordination and cooperation in various fields between the two countries.

The visit came in response to an invitation by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
