U.S. Plane crashes on residential area in Southern California

SANAA, Feb. 4 (YPA) – At least five people were killed on Monday as a small plane crashed over a house in Southern California, a local official said.

The incident resulted in the death of the pilot along with four residents of the house where the plane crashed, the Associated Press reported on Monday, quoting Kori Martino, the orange county sheriff’s department.

“Two other people were taken to a hospital to treat their minor injuries, he said.

The light plane crashed shortly after takeoff from a nearby airport, the agency quoted a spokesman of the National Transport Safety Council as reporting.
