Militias loyal to UAE prevent Southern Movement’s meeting in Hadramout
HADRAMOUT, Feb. 2 (YPA) – Spokesman of the so called “southern revolutionary movement” Fadai Baum said on Saturday that armed militias backed by the United Arab Emirates(UAE) in Hadramout didn’t allowed to leaders of the movement to organize a meeting in the province.
The move came due to the movement leaders rejected the UAE and Saudi military presence in the southern provinces.
The movement’s component is one of the southern political forces demanding a separation.
It organized a lot of protest rallies demanding Saudi-UAE military forces to leave the Yemeni territory.
