2 killed in grenade on mosque in Philippines
SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – A grenade thrown into a mosque in the southern Philippines killed two people and wounded four, security officials said on Wednesday.
The incident took place just after midnight on the mosque in Zamboanga, a predominantly Christian province in the Mindanao region
Zamboanga is just a short boat ride from the mainly Muslim Sulu archipelago where Sunday’s church bombing took place
The latest attack came a few hours after President Rodrigo Duterti’s comments on television said the twin bombing that killed 21 people on the southern island of Jolo may have been a suicide.
