MARIB , Jan. 30 (YPA) – Soldiers belonging to the so-called seventh military zone loyal to the exiled Hadi government on Tuesday protested in the city of Marib, accusing the coalition-backed government of stealing their allocations and practising a policy of starvation against them, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the sources, the soldiers of the seventh military Region, came out today in a demonstration launched from Nihem district, east of Sanaa province, heading to the Republican Palace in Marib city, demanding the disbursement of their salaries and complainants at the same time Food supply shortages. ”
They urged the region’s leadership and the General Staff of the coalition forces to quickly disburse their six-month-old salaries, threatening to take measures that would upset the exiled Hadi’s government if the concerned parties did not respond to their demands.
Observers said these actions might be seen as a single of rebellion against the Hadi’s government in Marib City.
