Former French president questioned over killing journalists in Mali

SANAA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – A former French President Francois Hollande on Monday was questioned by a French court to investigate into the assassination of two journalists in Mali in 2013, a member of Hollande’s staff said.

Suspected Islamist militants kidnapped and killed the journalists at RFI radio, Claude Verlon and Ghislaine Dupont in Kidal city on Nov, 2013.

The two reporters had been interviewing Tuareg separatists rebels before being kidnapped.
