DALEA, March 21 (YAP) – A commander of UAE-financed security belt forces in Dalea province survived a bomb attack on Wednesday, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.
The official said an explosive device went off near a mini-bus in Sanah area located between Qataba city and Dalea province, killing three citizens, including a woman and a child, and wounding others.
The bomb attack targeted a convoy of the security belt forces’ commander in the province, Ahmed Qaed al-Ma’kar, and it was followed by shooting, according to the official.
The security belt forces launched the deployment plan in Dalea province on Monday, after one day from the resignation of the forces’ commander.
