Systematic destruction targets Yemeni airline

ADEN, March 20 (YPA) – Local sources in Aden province have revealed that there is corruption in the airline company at Aden and Sayon airports, which are run by government of exiled Riyadh-based resigned president Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi.

The volume of Yemenia airline’s revenues exceeds two billion Yemeni Rials (about $ 4 million) per month from the two airports, according to the officials.

They pointed out that Yemen Airways company’s tickets are the highest price at the international level, and several of its planes have readiness problems without any maintenance.

Only two planes of the Yemeni Air fleet have remained, which may be referred for retirement in the coming months, they added.
