Health ministry condemns coalition’s airstrikes on capital Sanaa

SANAA, Jan. 20 (YPA) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population strongly condemned the air raids launched by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition on the capital Sana’a during the past few hours, killing, wounding dozens of civilians and destroying houses and economic establishments.

In a statement, the ministry condemned the criminal intransigence of the countries of coalition in the continued shelling of civilians and their private property in areas inhabited by millions of citizens and displaced people from all provinces

The Ministry carried the legal, criminal, humanitarian and moral responsibility to the coalition’s countries  for inflicting casualties.

The statement also condemned the long and long-standing shame of the United Nations and its failure to fulfill its humanitarian and legal obligation to 30 million Yemenis who have been living for four years in genocide by the coalition and the latest on Saturday night.

The ministry called on all the free people of the world and the international community to assume their humanitarian responsibility towards the Yemeni people, who continue to suffer from the consequences of the aggression and its unjust siege.
