ASIR, Jan. 20 (YPA) – At least two military commanders loyal to Saudi-led coalition were killed on Saturday in artillery attacks carried out by the Yemeni army on Asir border front, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
“The commander, Ali Ghaleb al-Hamiri and another one of the battalion’s commanders in the 102 brigade, were killed in Alb crossing when the artillery units of the army forces pound the Saudi military sites, the official said.
The official confirmed that the Saudi army had carried out major attacks towards the Al-Ramaa, in which a large number of militants were killed.
He also stressed that the Saudi army and its militants suffered heavy losses during their attack to make progress on the ground.
