14 killed in attack on hotel complex in Kenya capital
SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – A Kenyan mortuary has received on Tuesday the bodies of 14 people killed in an attack on an upscale hotel and office complex in the capital, a mortuary worker said.
According to Reuters, the worker at Chiromu morgue said 14 all of them from there (theater of the attack). All but one of the bodies had identity cards.
Earlier on Tuesday, a strong explosion and shooting took place in a hotel in an upscale neighborhood in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi, according to France-Press Agency.
Gunmen and security forces exchanged fire, the agency said. It was not immediately clear whether the incident was a robbery or an attack.
“There was a bomb, and there was a lot of shooting,” witnesses said.
