Water Minister meets UNOPS official

SANAA, Jan.15 (YPA) – Minister of Water and Environment Nabil Abdullah al-Wazir met on Tuesday with the Regional Advisor at the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNPS) in Sanaa.

At the meeting, the two officials discussed the aspects of cooperation between the UNPS  and the minister in the water field.

The meeting reviewed the efforts exerted by the two sides to expand the water and sanitation projects to cover the actual needs as contained in the project plan prepared by the ministry for 2019.

The minister stressed on the important role that have played by organizations in supporting and implementing various development projects in line of the circumstances experienced by Yemen due to the brutal aggression coalition and its unjust siege.
