Update: Coalition continues shelling Hodeidah despite cease-fire
HODEIDAH, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Coalition-backed militias on Tuesday shelled residential areas with artillery and machine guns in the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.
The militias targeted areas in the south and east of Tuhaita district with 14 artillery shells and machine guns.
The coalition’s militias shelled residential areas and factories in Hodeidah despite the UN-brokered cease-fire which went into force on Dec. 18, 2018.
