Authority of Yemeni civil aviation calls to lift air siege for Int’l Sanaa airport

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Authority of Yemeni civil aviation on Tuesday called on the United Nations s to stand alongside the Yemeni people to lift air siege for International Sanaa airport.

Director of media in the authority Sultan Faraj said that” the blacked of the airport has been continued by Saudi-UAE coalition since 2016, as well as the land and sea siege imposed on the Yemeni people.

“Thousands of Yemenis threaten to death and 200 hundreds of patients want to travel to abroad for treatment and they suffer from critical cases due to the ongoing closure of the airport,” Faraj said.
