Update: Army repels coalition’s attack in Jawf

JAWF, Jan. 14 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Monday repelled an attack carried out by militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of the militants were killed and injured during their attempts to advance towards the army’s locations in Astor valley of Khub Washaef district.

Earlier in the day, a military vehicle was destroyed in Sabreen area of the same district, planted by army’s engineering unit, killing all its crew members.
