SANAA, Jan. 14 (YPA) – A “Boeing 707” Iranian cargo plane with ten people on board crashed on Monday in a residential area on the outskirts of Tehran, killing its entire crew member.
News agencies reported that the aircraft was traced to a Kazakh company and landed in a residential area “Zepa shower” near the “open airport” in the western city of Karaj.T
The plane landed while trying to land in the “Open Airport”, explaining that it exited the runway as it landed, which led to break out of the fire, the spokesman of the Iranian Air Corporation, Afrah Zadeh said.
The head of the emergency agency said that a helicopter and six rescue teams had been dispatched to the crash site.
Iran Press News Agency has tweeted on Monday that the Boeing 707 has crashed “into Safadasht, in the west of Tehran amid severe weather conditions”.

According to officials of the Iranian Air Corporation, the pilot failed to control the plane and landed at the end of the runway, collided with the airport wall, and then hit a residential town near the airport.
The plane took off from the airport “Mehrabad ” in Tehran and was heading to the airport “Piam ” southwest of the city of Karaj, but it suffered a technical fault during the flight, forcing it to land in the “Open airport” in the same city.
