Bayda governor inspects damage in power plant after coalition bombing

BAYDA, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Governor of Bayda province Ali al-Mansouri on Sunday inspected the destruction caused by Saudi-led coalition air bombing at the power station in the city of Bayda.

During the visit, the governor also was briefed on the damage to the plant’s generators, operating equipment and fuel tanks, which led to a halt to the pant.

Al-Mansouri pointed out that the coalition hostilities indicate to its hatred of the Yemeni people and that is clear through targeting children women and infrastructure in the capital Sanaa and the provinces.

He confirmed that the destruction of the installations, including Bayda’s electricity station, “would not dissuade the people from continuing to confront the aggression and its mercenaries.”
