Dozens of teachers in Sanaa rally to demand paying salaries

SANAA, Jan. 13 (YPA) – A protest rally was organized by dozens of teachers on Sunday in front of the United Nations headquarters in the capital Sanaa to demand payment of their salaries.

In the rally, the teachers held the coalition and exiled Hadi’s authorities the full responsibilities to cut off the salaries, calling for the United Nations to presser the coalition’s states to end the economic war and return of the Central Bank to Sanaa to disburse the salaries of the Yemeni teachers.

The rally condemned the war crimes and economic blockade imposed by the Saudi-led coalition on the Yemeni people, as well as destroying infrastructures over mostly four years.

The participants demanded the international community to criminalize and condemn the economic siege, systematic starvation using as weapon by the coalition to kill the Yemeni people.
