Yemeni army inflicts heavy losses on coalition militants

JAWF, March 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday attacked sites and groups of coalition-allied militants in several districts of Jawf province, killing and wounding dozens, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

In Khab Washaf district, the army carried out an attack on the militants in al-Khanjar area.

In al-Maslub district, dozens of the militants were killed and injured in the army offensive on al-Baidha hilltop and Wazaq area.

Also in al-Maslub, the army bombed a military truck of the militants.

Meanwhile, the army fired artillery toward groups of the militants in the position of Salan, Kubra, al-Bahith, Sabar and Shawaq valley.

The army also repelled an attack of the militants in al-Ajashar area in Jawf desert,killing scores and destroying two military vehicles.
