Man attacks school in China, injures 20 children

SANAA, Jan. 8 (YPA) – A Chinese man attacked a primary school in Beijing on Tuesday, injuring 20 children.

According to the agency “Sputnik” the preliminary data said 20 children were injured and taken to hospital, with three of them in serious condition. There is no threat to their lives. ”

Police detained the suspect at the crime scene.

A local newspaper said it was not yet clear what the instrument used by the attacker was “a hammer or a knife.”

The school informed parents immediately after the attack, while a doctor at Visual Media said the students were being treated while the mayor was in hospital to follow up on their condition.
