Pro-coalition soldier killed in Taiz

TAIZ, March. 18 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen on Saturday killed a soldier belonging to the military police in central of the province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Witnesses said that gunmen opened fire on the soldier, Suhaib al-Amiri, amid the market of the popular dome, which is under the control of factions loyal to the coalition, led to his death.

In earlier time, Colonel Jamal al-Shamiri, commander of the coalition’s military police, survived an assassination attempt in the same district.

Meanwhile, a member of the pro-coalition forces in the city of Taiz committed suicide, after his name was dropped from the salary list for the soldiers of the 22nd Brigade.

Taiz is witnessing a security chaos and expansion of assassinations between the factions.
