37 civilians killed in armed attack in central Mali

SANAA, Jan. 2 (YPA) – The government of Mali announced on Tuesday evening that gunmen had killed 37 civilians in the center of the country.

According to Sputnik agency, the government said that the attackers, dressed in traditional fishermen of the ethnic Donsu, raided the village of Kolon in the central region of Mopti and that some of the victims are children.

Mali is still facing danger of Takfiri under the international military intervention led by France under the pretext of fighting “terrorism”, which has increased the pace and expansion of activity.

It is noteworthy that the ethnic violence in Mali killed hundreds last year.
