4 Palestinians wounded by Israeli occupation fire amid widespread raids in occupied West Bank

WEST BANK, Oct. 14 (YPA) – Four Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces gunfire on Tuesday evening during military incursions into the towns of Al-Yamun, west of Jenin, and Kharbatha Bani Harith, west of Ramallah.

Concurrently, Israeli occupation forces detained several Palestinian citizens for field interrogations, raided homes and commercial shops, and established a military checkpoint near Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, causing severe traffic congestion.

According to local sources, three citizens sustained varying degrees of injuries from live ammunition during the raid on Al-Yamun. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) transported a young man who was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces in Kharbatha Bani Harith.

In Jenin, Israeli occupation forces entered the Al-Bayader area in the Eastern Neighborhood, holding a number of residents for field questioning. Israeli occupation troops also searched a bakery and commercial properties on Nablus Street near the Asfour Roundabout, alongside conducting raids on homes and shops in Silat al-Harithiya, west of the governorate.

In Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, a newly erected Israeli occupation military checkpoint restricted the movement of Palestinian vehicles and residents, leading to significant traffic delays.

These operations occur against the backdrop of escalated Israeli occupation military activity and settler violence across the West Bank, encompassing casualties, arrests, home and structure demolitions, land confiscations, and settlement expansion, as well as severe restrictions on Palestinian movement.

Since the beginning of 2026, over 1,600 Zionist settler attacks resulting in casualties or property damage have been recorded across 275 Palestinian communities. Additionally, more than 4,300 Palestinians have been displaced due to demolitions, evictions, settler attacks, and related movement restrictions.

Furthermore, Israeli occupation authorities have demolished over 1,100 structures citing the lack of building permits, directly displacing more than 1,500 Palestinians. This coincides with ongoing movement restrictions and targets on agricultural land, water sources, and essential livelihoods, mounting pressure on Palestinian communities, particularly in rural and pastoral areas.
