Fuel truck explodes in Mahwit

MAHWIT, March. 17 (YPA) – A fuel truck carrying about 30,000 liters of fuel (petrol) exploded in Bab al-Ahjar area, causing human and material casualties, Director-general of Traffic in the province Colonel Zaid Ali al-Nonno told Yemen Press Agency.

The explosion caused serious injuries to the driver, as well as burning several citizens’ houses in the district.

Al-Nonno added that incident caused by driver error, recklessness and negligence.
