SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Sudanese activists and organizations on Sunday have launched calls for new mass rallies in protest against the deteriorating economic situation in the country, while limited night protests have been staged in some areas.
Activists on social media have launched calls on “Sudanese professionals association” to participate in what they called the march towards the Republican Palace in Khartoum on Monday to demand the resignation of President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.

The calls were released under the label ” #December, 31 March” in which the calls coincided with the anniversary of Independence Day of Sudan and the New Year, stressing that “the regime holds responsible for the safety of the protesters”.
