Commander survives assassination attempt in Abyan

ABYAN, Dec. 29 (YPA) – A southern commander loyal to United Arab Emirates occupation forces in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan survived on Saturday an assassination attempt, according to military sources.

The unknown gunmen heavy opened fire at a car of the commander Mahdi Dajrah on the main road in al-Mahfadah district.

Assassinations and security disorder have been ramping in the south of the country since United Arab Emirates occupation forces took over the southern provinces.
