Meeting in Sanaa discusses completion of 2019 response plan

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – The Board of Directors of the National Authority for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Response on Saturday held a meeting to discuss the completion of response plan for the year 2019.

The meeting, headed by Chairman of the Board and Director of the Office of the Presidency Ahmed Hamed, touched on the aspects related to needs plans submitted by the bodies concerned with health care and educational services and other basic services.

Hamed pointed out that the 2019 response plan includes all sectors and fields according to priority, taking into account the difficult humanitarian conditions the country is going through and impacts of the siege and aggression on the various sectors.

He expressed his hope that the needs plan for this year would include additional fields and activities aimed at improving the livelihoods of citizens and enabling them to rely on themselves in finding sustainable income sources.
