Health Minister, UNISEF official discuss doubling bilateral cooperation

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Minister of Health Taha al-Mutawakil on Saturday discussed aspects of a bilateral cooperation between the ministry and the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Yemen.

The move came during his meeting with Meritxell Relano, UNICEF resident representative in Yemen.

In the meeting, al-Mutawakel stressed the importance of the partnership and coordination between his ministry and the organization to back the health sector, especially with regard to motherhood and childhood programs.
