Army repels coalition’s attack in western coast

HODEIDAH, Dec. 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday foiled an attack carried out by militants loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen’s Hodeidah province, a military official told Yemen press Agency.

According to the official, the militants tried to advance towards the army positions in Hays district in the western coast but were foiled by army fighters, inflicting massive losses on their ranks.

The official added that the coalition’s warplanes and espionage stepped up their flights on the city of Hodeidah and its eastern and southern districts.
