SANAA, Dec. 11 (YPA) – The US immigration authorities arrested 170 migrants between early July and late November, after coming forward to get their migrant children back, who is held by the government in a crackdown that critics say discourages relatives from recovering some 14,000 children in detention.
Said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman, Matthew Bourke said that among the detainees, 61 were classified by the authorities as criminals, while the other 100 and nine had committed immigration irregularities.
President Donald Trump arrival at the White House thanks came due to pledges, including taking tough measures against illegal immigrants, and he ordered stricter enforcement of laws to discourage migrants from crossing the southern border of the United States.
Laws in the United States limit the period of detention of minor immigrants so that those who have been arrested by the authorities can be handed over to their families.
