local authority in Hodeidah deplores escalation of coalition in light of negotiations

SANAA, Dec. 9  (YPA) – The local authority in Hodeidah province condemned the continued escalation of the coalition against the province, in light of the holding of a new round of negotiations aimed at achieving peace in Yemen.

In a statement, the local authority condemned the heinous crime committed by coalition fighters on Saturday in Rabsa area of Hawk district, in which a number of civilian houses were targeted and more than 20 civilians were killed and wounded, most of them children and women.

The statement pointed out that with the start of the negotiating sessions in Sweden, the coalition fighters began bombardment homes and peoples in the most crowded neighborhoods, which confirms their deception and unwillingness to achieve the peace sought by all Yemenis.

The statement stressed that those who do not have a decision and receive guidance from countries of coalition will not be able to come out with a vision that contradicts those trends and achieve peace in the land of peace and faith.
