President directs to solve problem of rise in fuel prices

SANAA, March 6 (YPA) – President Saleh Al-Sammad, on Tuesday directed the concerned authorities to solve the problem of the rise in the prices of petroleum products and domestic gas.
The president ordered also to prevent traders, who manipulate the prices of gas and oil, from importing new quantities.
This came during a meeting presided by Al-Sammad and attended by top civil and military officials to discuss the problem of oil derivatives prices.
The president urged to set up a mechanism to stop monopoly of gas and petrol.
He ordered also to prepare a black list of names of manipulating traders.
