Mahara announces new phase of escalation against governor, Saudi forces

MAHARA, Nov. 22 (YPA) – The Organizing Committee for the peaceful sit-in of Mahara continued its activities rejecting the Saudi military presence in the province and renewed its demands to dismiss the governor appointed by exiled President Hadi, Rajeh Bakrit, and put him on trial.

This came at a meeting held by the Committee on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Amer Saad and his deputy, Sheikh Abboud Haboud, which was discussed all issues related to the peaceful escalation in the coming period.

The committee said in a statement that the sons of Mahara continue to escalate against the Saudi forces until they leave their province and against government Hadi until the removal of Governor Bakrit and submit to the judiciary.
