Report: 9 civilians killed in 26 coalition airstrikes on Yemen over 24 hours
SANAA, Mar. 1 (YPA) – Nine Yemeni civilians were killed and other nine injured, including children and women, when US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 26 air strikes on several provinces of Yemen, according to military and medics reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.
- In Saada province:
Four civilians were killed and other six injured, including children and women, in an air strike which targeted a house in Qahzah area.
An air raid targeted a spring water in Thuaib area.
Four air strikes hit Adhiaq and Malil areas of Kutaf district.
Meanwhile, Saudi force shelled several areas of Razeh district and Aal-Shaikh area of Munabeh district by missiles and artillery, damaging residents’ farms and properties.
- In the Red Sea Port provice of Hodeidah:
Five girls were killed and other three wounded in an air strike on Baghil area of Hais district.
- In Baydaa province:
Three air raids were waged on Natea district.
- In Marib province:
An air strike hit Serwah district.
- In Jawf province:
Three air strikes on Khub-washaaf district.
- In Hajjah province:
Two air strikes were launched on Washha district.
Eight air raids on Haradh and Medi districts.
- In Jizan border province:
An air strike targeted Jara valley.
- In Asir border province:
A Saudi-led coalition air strike hit Majaza.
