FM meets head of UN envoy’s office

SANAA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met on Wednesday with the head of the UN special envoy’s office, Nicola Davies.

At the meeting, the minister handed over a message to Davies, condemning the illegal measures taken by Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s ambassador to Cairo who blocked the Yemenis from entering Egypt.

Sharaf said such measures work against the efforts of confidence-building and peace solution brokered by the UN envoy.

The Minister reaffirmed the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government’s readiness for engaging in the UN-brokered peace process to reach a political settlement.
