Merkel pledges to stop arms to Saudi Arabia until Khashoggi’s death is explained

SANAA, Oct.27 ( YPA ) – German Chancellor Angela Merkel vowed on Friday to stop all German arms exports to Saudi Arabia until an explanation was given for the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Merkel said at a press conference with Czech prime minister, Andrej Babis, that It is necessary to clarify the background of this terrible incident, adding If this does not happen, we will not hand over any weapons to Saudi Arabia.
