Government condemns Wednesday’s Saudi-led airstrike on Hodeida

SANAA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government condemned Wednesday’s Saudi-led airstrike on Hodeidah province that killed at least 20 civilians and wounded 10 others, in a statement issued by the government spokesman Abdul Salam Jaber, who is also the minister of information.

“The coalition has been continuing targeting Yemeni civilians for more than three years, the latest of which was the Wednesday’s war crime that targeted a popular market in Bait al-Fakih district,” said the statement on Thursday.

The government held the United Nations responsibility for its silence towards such war crimes and called the international community to move to halt the Saudi military aggression against the Yemeni people.
