Water minister orders to take benefit of rainwater through projects

SANAA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – Minister of Water and Irrigation Abdul Malik al-Thawr addresses on Wednesday to identify the priorities of the projects in the irrigation sector, especially the sector of the networks and channels of the drainage of rainwater connected to dams , which will help to irrigate the agricultural areas.

This came during a meeting held in the capital Sanaa headed by the minister.
The minister affirmed the importance of preparing a matrix over these projects to be discussed in the next meeting with the sides that will fund it.

The meeting reviewed a report on the programs concerning irrigation sector including the operative budget of the sector and its needed projects in this stage.
