Top commander loyal to coalition injured in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Oct. 24 (YPA) – A senior commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition was injured on Wednesday in Kilo 16 area of western province of Hodeidah, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The commander of the so-called 1st battalion of the 3rd brigade, (Giants), Mamdouh al-Ahdel, was injured with several his bodyguards in amortar shell.

On Monday, the army waged an attack on sites of the coalition’s militiamen in the same area, killing dozens, wounding others and destroying 23 military vehicles, the official added.
