President threatens coalition with decisive confrontation

SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – President Saleh al-Sammad on Monday threatened the Saudi-led coalition, which has waged a war on Yemen for almost three years, with a decisive confrontation until victory and defeating the aggressors.

This came in the president’s speech during attending a graduation ceremony of a new batch of the Central Security Forces in the Red Sea port city of Hodaida.

The president said that the coalition has tried over the past three years to weaken Yemen, but it stood helpless before steadfastness of Yemenis.

“Yemeni people are waiting for you to defeat the enemy and to maintain security, stability and the public tranquility,” he addressed the newly graduated soldiers.

The president hailed the role of leadership of the Interior Ministry and the Central Security Forces in contributing to restore the momentum of the security units.
