Military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition killed in Nihem district

SANAA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – Dozens of coalition-backed militants, including a commander, were killed on Friday during an offensive carried out by the Yemeni army and popular committees in the eastern province of Sanaa, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the artillery forces bombed gatherings and fortifications of the militants in the outskirts al-Majawhah area, with a number of shells which resulted in several dead and wounded among them.

Among the dead are the leaders of the coalition “Nabil Ali Aljamaei, one of the most prominent field leaders of the Saudi-led coalition in Nihem front, the official said.

Three other militants were killed in sniping operations carried out by the Army’s snipers at the same front, the official added.
