Putin holds Washington partially responsible for Khashoggi’s disappearance
SANAA, Oct. 18 (YPA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday held US partially responsible for the disappearance Saudi Journalist Jamal Khashoggi because he lived in America affirming the importance of the appearance of investigation’s result in his disappearance before taking any procedures against the Saudi kingdom.
This came in Putin’s speech delivered during the annual meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi.
Meanwhile, Turkish Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gül affirmed that the investigation in the issue is led by the prosecution describing it as accurate and profound expecting that the appearance of results of investigation into this issue as soon as possible.
Earlier, US President Ronald Trump said in an interview to the satellite TV channel Fox News Business that he did not want to cut off US relationship with the Saudi Arabia in spite Khashoggi’s issue which and the worries about his destiny.
Khashoggi who worked as journalist for the US newspaper Washington Post and have been living in the US since the year 2017.
On 2 October, Khashoggi’s destiny was considered unknown after he entered the building of the consulate of the Saudi Arabia in the Turkish capital Istanbul and did not appeared again.
