British newspaper: America’s dependence on Saudi Arabia is very dangerous in Middle East

SANAA, Oct. 17 (YPA) –  The United States dependence  on Saudi Arabia would be very dangerous, the British Financial Times newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The newspaper said in an article the disappearance of Saudi opposition journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, and possibly of his killing is a tragedy and a puzzle.

The article indicated that it is also considered a serious blow to US policy in the Middle East.

The Saudi crown prince was seen as the man who would lead the coalition against Iran, conclude a peace treaty with Israel and undermine the clerical control of his country, the article added.

The article pointed out that A quick friendship arose between the Saudi prince and the American president’s brother-in-law, Jared Kouchner, explaining that both are in their thirties and are planning to redraw the geopolitics of the Middle East.

The newspaper added in the article that the Crown Prince was considered dangerous from the beginning, and there is a lot of evidences that confirm this like: The war on Yemen, which led to a humanitarian disaster, bitter hostility with neighbor Qatar, which he is imposed a blockade on it, the temporary imprisonment of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri, blackmailing the richest Saudi businessmen, and imprisoned many journalists and human rights activists – including journalist Khashoggi Who lived at his voluntary exile in the United States.
