Yemeni army shells gatherings of coalition-backed militants in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committee on Saturday shelled gatherings of coalition-backed militants at Mafalees area in Hifan district in Yemen’s Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The artillery shelling left dozens of militants dead and wounded, the official added.

The Yemeni army stepped up its military offensive against Saudi-led coalition forces and their militias in a response to war crimes and massacres committed against the Yemeni citizens.
