Citizen killed in Tuhita district

HODEIDAH, Oct. 13 (YPA) – A civilian was killed on Thursday by a gunman belonging to the coalition-backed militants in Yemen’s Red Sea Port City of Hodeidah,  local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The civilian was killed in Qat market in the district of Tuhita, one of the sources said.

The Coalition-backed militants are increasingly committing crimes of rape and murder in several districts of the Western Coast.

On Friday, the city of Tuhita witnessed a protest calling on the leadership of the coalition-backed militants to hand over the killer, accusing them of smuggling the killer.

The people of the slain citizen together with a number of residents of the district staged a protest rally in Tuhita demanding the leadership of the coalition militants to hand the killer.

According to the sources, a popular discontent is expected to increase against the crimes of coalition-backed militants against citizens in Western Coast cities and districts, including the district of Tuhita, which amounts to war crimes.
