Yemeni army launches offensive on coalition-backed militants in Bayda

BAYDA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday launched a large-scale attack on the positions of the coalition-backed militants at Qaniah district in the central province of Bayda, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack left dozens of the militants killed and injured at al-Khadara Alsud and Artab Asir areas, the official added.

The Yemeni army stepped up its military offensive against Saudi-led coalition forces and their militias in a response to war crimes and massacres committed against the Yemeni citizens.
