Yemeni army repels infiltration attempt of coalition-backed militants in Nihem

SANAA, Oct. 10 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on the early hours of Wednesday repelled an infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militants toward Nihem district in Yemen’s Sanaa, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official said that the operation resulted in several dead and wounded in ranks of the militants when the army forces attacked their sites at Eayidat al-Sharqiah area.

He added the infiltration lasted for eight hours, but without making any progress on the ground.
