Security controls 225 criminal cases, recovers number of stolen cars

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – A statistic issued by the General Administration of Security of capital Sanaa for the third week of September confirmed that the number of criminal cases seized during this period amounted to 225 cases.
The statistics indicated that security forces detained 317 defendants.
Among the cases monitored were three cases of murder and 29 cases of theft, which took place in the capital Sana’a during the same period.
According to a security source, the security men of the capital were able to uncover the circumstances of 9 cases, committed in previous periods and were still unknown, with the arrest of the perpetrators.
In a week, the security of the capital was able to recover two stolen cars and arrested the suspects.
The statistics also showed that the crime decreased this week, from the previous rate of 30%.
