BAYDA Sept. 27 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-backed militiamen were killed by the fires of Yemen army in Bayda province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.
The official said the commander of the so-called Victory Battalion of the 117th Brigade, Abdul Salam al-Saidi, was injured and others injured on Wednesday in Qania front.
The official added that a number of field commanders of coalition were killed on Thursday, including Talib Naji al-Saidi, Hatem al-Awadi and Jalal Qasim al-Dabani, by a specific attack by the army against coalition positions.
