UNICEF cargo plane arrives at Sana’a International Airport

SANAA, Sept. 26 (YPA) – A United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) cargo plane arrived on Wednesday at Sanaa International Airport, special vaccines for children.

The director of vaccine management in vaccination program, Taha al-Aqari said,  “The shipment of vaccines provided by UNICEF includes five million and 650 thousand doses of measles and rubella vaccine.”

Al-Aqari pointed out that these vaccines are specific to the national campaign against measles and rubella, which will be implemented by the Ministry of Health in all provinces of the Republic for the age group from 6 months to 15 years.
